John Osburn has devoted a career to the many arts of performance. His interests range from Shakespeare, Ibsen and Chekhov, to ballet, opera and contemporary dance, to Afro-Peruvian jazz, the Argentine tango and the Portuguese fado. He has been writing the reviews featured on this site since 2009, mostly in New York, where he lives and works, but sometimes from as far afield as Madrid, Buenos Aires, or Medellín.
